Median Value: The middle value of all properties across the geography based on the Automated Valuation Model.

Median Growth: The difference between the median value in the current period compared to the same period 12 months ago. The result is expressed as a percentage.

Median Rent: The middle value of advertised weekly rents captured by CoreLogic during the 12 month period.

Rental Yield: Is calculated based on the annualised rent (Median Asking Rent x 52 (weeks)), divided by the median value of those properties advertised for rent.

On the Suburb Research page, you may:

Type a suburb name or postcode in the search bar. Predictive text will appear as you type. Select a suburb from the suggested list.

Explore suburbs by state by clicking on a state and selecting a suburb from the list. Suburbs are listed in alphabetical order.

After you have selected a suburb, you will see a short introduction about the suburb. This information is generated from local market data and census data provided by the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS). Below the introduction is a map of the suburb and its surrounding areas. You may expand the map to full screen or zoom in and out using the + or - buttons.

Below the map, you will see the Suburb Insights section, which includes Market Insights and Neighbourhood Insights.

Median Growth
Median Rent
Rental Yield
Statistics for both houses and units are visible. You may view market trends over a period of 10 years, 5 years or 1 year - we use the latest and earliest figures in the graph to calculate the change over the selected time period.
Explore neighbourhood insights by viewing the Age, Household Structure and Occupancy charts.

Scroll down the page to view properties in this suburb. Select a property status by clicking on For Sale, For Rent, Recently Sold, and Off Market. Browse through properties by clicking on the arrows. Click on the view more link to view more properties matching your selected property status.
At the bottom of the page, you will see agencies selling in the suburb you have selected. Click on the view more agencies link to view more agencies.
